I think BLACK PERFORATED VINYLS would look better. That is what I want to put on mine. It is ONE WAY film so you can see out but, ppl can't see in (except at night with lights on, of course)

I'm going to be liv8ng in my vehicle soon and I'm considering buying an Oupes Mega 2 with 2 solar panels to not have the limitations you had.

Having a van where you could put fixed vent holes to the outside not above a door window, especially the driver's window which not convenient. Even the front passenger window could be less put it up and take it down crazy.

The underwater footage was beautiful ❣️😊 The window covering definitely has a learning curve. I agree with another's advice on here, to use water. I also used a squeegee. At least all the coverings I've put on suggest doing it that way. Good luck.🤞

Joseph...here is what I do with my Toyota Sienna. I am using translucent, definitely not opaque, white coroplast panels cut to size which snap into place inside the van over the rear and side windows. Also known as election sign material or "plastic cardboard". These let lots of light into the van but are truly private. I can simply stack them together and slide the 1/4 thin panels into some crevice in the van when not in use. You might try this. Might look a bit ghetto, but a very good solution I am happy with. Easy to snap in and out as required for driving visibility, but definitely legal used this way to obscure van contents completely, yet let a great deal of light into the van..Chris in Victoria. Could also use black ones I suppose, but I like the cheerier white.

Leave is black. The only possible way it might look good is if the color matched the body color perfectly.... which it won't .

Personally, I would not use vinyl on the windows. Makes the car look cheap. I would tint them as dark as possible. If you want to use vinyl I’d use black not white. The white on a white car is just ugly.

There is a type of window vinyl that has tiny holes in it. Allows you to see out, but no one can see in. May not be suitable at night, but if you put up your inside window covers, it would work! Glad your onion rings turned out good!

No wrap. It looks odd with that white wrap partly around your van. If you plan on doing it make both sides of the van the same.

IMO, leave it the way it was. Looks way better without the vinyl. Also the vinyl will draw more attention to your van. Great fishing and free diving location. We're liking the mix of vanlife snd free diving.

I would leave it with windows alone

I find it looks a little strange, I'm not sure I'd be able to do any better. I loved the diving and also enjoyed all the ocean's natural beauty.

Thank you for identifying everything on your dives. In the states, we watch out for covered window vehicles because of human trafficking. Scary.

Leave the window

Put the vinyl on and should help some with keeping the heat out. Tip is water or peeling off the backing slow and not all at once.
